Relying on the resources of its parent company, SMRI, FCE has developed a workshop specialised in manufacturing and repair machining. It integrates 30 state-of-the-art machining tools which can process parts weighing up to 25 tons and can handle any machining process.
5-axis machining: at the cutting edge of technology
The machining workshop is equipped with CAD/CAM software and 3 5-axis machines:
- A large capacity SWR boring machine (4000 mm x 1000 mm x 2000 mm / 25T).
- One MAZAK INTEGREX horizontal machining centre 2500 mm between centre and 760 mm diameter on bench.
- One MAZAK VARIAXIS I600 vertical machining centre (workpiece diameter 700 mm / workpiece height 450 mm).
This equipment allows us to produce complex parts individually or in series.
