Manufacturing of specific valves and check valves

Custom Valves and Check Valves

Manufacturing of specific valves and check valves

Are the service conditions of your process unique (specific fluid, high temperature, shock resistance, vibration resistance, radiation resistance, constrained space) and/or is your equipment obsolete (suppliers disappeared, products no longer manufactured)?

Thanks to the experience gained from its multiple developments for the nuclear, naval or defence markets, the FCE design office will propose a series of solutions likely to meet your needs.

Explain your needs in detail and we will strive to design and develop the valve that will correspond to your expectations.

On-off Ball valves

On-Off Valve

FCE: Experts in custom valve design and manufacturing.

FCE is specialised in the design and manufacture of 1/4 turn operated ball valves for specific purposes: in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, defence, nuclear, hydraulic industries, etc.

FCE will design the valve to meet your needs, especially if your facility is subject to specific service conditions.

Possible features and technologies:

  • Type of Fluid

Steam, water, gas, nitrogen, helium, hydrogen, charged fluid...

  • DN

From DN 8 to DN 200.
  • Nominal Working Pressure

    10 bars to 1000 bars.
  • Operating Temperature

    -200°C à +500°C.
  • Connection

    Flanged, welded or threaded.
  • Sealing

Sealing can vary depending on the fluids and service conditions (metal to metal, soft seat, etc...).
  • Ball

    Floating or with shaft.
  • Assembly

    2-pieces or 3-pieces.

FCE is a specialist in top entry technology, allowing simplified in-line maintenance without disassembling the valve from the installation.

Small diameter ball valve range

FCE offers a range of small diameter DN8 to DN32 ball valves with very tight flange mounting.

Advantage: These products will allow you to design very compact installations very useful in the framework of embedded processes: e.g. automotive fuel cells / naval steam boiler.

New High Performance Valve

FCE now offers a new high performance valve. This type of valve is designed to meet very specific requirements imposed by the operation of your facilities.

The main characteristics of high performance valves are as follows:

  • Valve

    Ball.

  • Type of Fluid

Steam, hydrogen, nitrogen, helium, hydrocarbons, water, sea water, particle-charged fluid, corrosive fluid ...

  • Fluid temperature

    -200°C to +500°C.

  • Nominal pressure

    PN10 to PN160.

  • Nominal diameter

    DN8 to DN40.

  • Type of connection

    All (RF, BW, SW, …).

  • Control

    Manual or motorised.

  • Dimensions

    Standard or compact on request.

  • Environmental conditions

High indoor or outdoor temperature, humidity, salinity, shocks, vibrations.

  • Operating performance

Low leakage rate, zero pressure drop, low noise levels, operating time.

  • Maintenance

Modular maintenance, in-line disassembly of the valve block, quick interchangeability.

  • Building Code

CODAP, RCCM, NF EN 13445-3, NF EN 1983.

Multi-way Ball Valves

Multi-Way Ball Valve

Design and manufacturing of custom multi-way valves

Based on ball valve technology, FCE offers a range of 3 / 4 / 6 multiway valves with multiple positions according to your fluid flow requirements.

For specific purposes: In the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and hydraulic industries...

If your facility is subject to specific service conditions, such as:

  • High Temperatures

    Up to +500°C.

  • Low temperatures

    Down to -200°C.

  • Non-conventional fluids

Hydrogen type gases, abrasives, corrosives ...

Tight spaces: FCE can, within the limits of technology, adapt to your facility’s space requirements.

Advantages of the multi-way valve

A multi-way valve reduces the need for On-Off valves and thus simplifies installations.

The Top Entry technology generally used by FCE in this type of manufacturing facilitates maintenance interventions.

Swing Check Valve

Features:

  • Type of Fluid

Steam, water, gas, nitrogen, helium, hydrogen, charged fluid...
  • DN

From DN 8 to DN 200.
  • Nominal Working Pressure

    10 bars to 1000 bars.
  • Operating Temperature

    -200°C to +500°C.
  • Connection

    Flanged, welded or threaded.
  • Sealing

Sealing can vary depending on the fluids and service conditions (metal to metal, soft seat, etc.).

Advantage: This equipment allows in-line maintenance without disassembling the valve body from the pipe.

Axial Check Valve

Just as with swing check valves, FCE manufactures axial check valves corresponding to your criteria and requirements.

The advantages of axial check valves are:

  • Better fluid flow.
  • Limited pressure loss.
  • Low opening pressure.
  • Low noise levels during opening and closing phases.
